Mike founded ADS Technologies, Inc. in 1992 and grew the company from an idea to a $30 million a year company with sales in nearly all major retail outlets in North America, South America, Australia and Europe.
Mike and his team developed many sucessful retail products. ADS was known as an innovative company with many "first to market" technologies.
In 2008 ADS Tech was sold. In 2009 Mike formed BlasterTek to help other companies design, develop and bring to market their product ideas.

- USB 1.0 PCI card (1998)- the ADS Tech USB Host PCI became the industry benchmark product. ADS OEM'd the card to most major brands in the industry and the card became the standard for peripheral manufactures to use when testing their new USB products for compatibility.
- 1394 FireWire (1999)- The PYRO FireWire card was the first OHCI 1394 PCI card to ship in the world. ADS partnered with Texas Instruments and the PYRO card became the market leader. At one point the PYRO name was more well known than the company that made the board.
PYRO Drive Kit (2000) - The PYRO drive kit - ADS was first to market with FireWire external drive enclosures. The PYRO Drive kit and later 1394+USB Combo drive kits were the market leading enclosures with more retail shelf space than any other drive enclosure at the time.
USB MPEG-2 Encoder (2001) - The Instant DVD was the worlds first USB connected MPEG-2 video encoder device for the consumer market.
DVD Xpress - (2004) - First USB MPEG-2 encoder for less than $100. The DVD Xpress made it fast and easy for anyone to convert their Video Tapes into DVD's. DVD Xpress was sold in more than 40 countries worldwide and several hundred thousand units were sold during the life of the product.
